No one ever said it was easy…
This is my first attempt to share my wit, wisdom and woes with the world. Some of the content will be painful to write and probably more painful to read. Sorry, not sorry!
There are so many “boomers” out there I believe will relate to some parts of my story, but know it’s not just for seniors, my aim is to reach all ages. My goal is to write a helpful, humorous and easy to follow guide about living life without ending up where I am – broke, broken, depressed, scared, lonely and lost at 69 years old.
How can I do this while being in the situation and mindset I am in, you ask? Well, I guess you will have to follow to find out.
I promise to take you on an adventure where together we will trip and fall, pick ourselves up and dust ourselves off, then perhaps ride a roller coaster which, by the way I hate. We will explore lots of wilderness, spend some time in the bright sunlight and some time in the dark. Wherever we end up it will be a surprise for both of us.
Lewis Carroll says, “It’s no use going back to yesterday, because I was a different person then.”(Alice in Wonderland). With all due respect to Mr. Carroll, I have to disagree. We must go back to yesterday to examine our mistakes and learn from them.
And here is where our adventure down the rabbit hole begins…
